Header The Moisturizer - REVIEW: Innisfree Green Tea Foam Cleanser
Are you looking for a new face cleanser? The Innisfree Green Tea Foam Cleanser might be the new addition to your skincare routines, let me introduce it to you! If you don’t double cleanse yet, this is your signal to do it, let’s get to know this water-based cleanser and see if it’s for you!

Today we have a new review, specifically I am going to tell you about my experience using this Innisfree cleanser, which I discovered a few months ago. If you haven’t found a water-based cleaner yet and are looking for one, keep reading!

BRAND: INNISFREE
PRODUCT: GREEN TEA FOAM CLEANSER
SKIN TYPE: RECOMMENDED FOR COMBINATION AND OILY SKIN
RECOMENDADO PARA: UNISEX

You can find the Innisfree Green Tea Foam Cleanser on Amazon, on Yesstyle, on Walmart and on Jolse.

As I was saying, I have been using this cleaner for a few months and I really wanted to share my review, which is also the first I do of an Innisfree product. This brand of Korean origin, belonging to the Amore Pacific group, develops its products from typical ingredients from Jeju Island (which you may remember from this other post). Specifically, green tea is one of the key ingredients of the brand, an important part of its products incorporate it and they have several registered trademarks for the ingredients derived from green tea that they include in their products (which comes, 100%, from Jeju Island).

You already know that cleansing is a crucial part of your skincare routine. Through it, we remove all the particles that are deposited on our skin, leaving it ready to apply the rest of the products, which will nourish it and help us keep it protected. However, choosing the right cleanser is not always easy, it is very important to use one with a slightly acidic pH (remember, slightly), in order to carry out an effective cleansing that is not too aggressive or too light. Generally speaking, these foam cleansers are usually more suitable for combination or oily skin, since if you have dry skin it can be too powerful for you, causing your skin to become even more dehydrated and dry.

In this case, the brand has developed a water-based cleaner in which they have given special prominence to green tea, which you already know is a mild but effective antioxidant (and which also has calming properties). In addition, this cleanser also incorporates among its ingredients lauric acid, a fatty acid with antimicrobial and soothing properties and palmitic acid, another fatty acid that helps remove particles from the skin. Among the ingredients of this cleanser we find alcohol and perfumes.

And how are the sensations when using it? It is a very pleasant product to apply. Leaves a very soft film on the skin and spreads comfortably. The presence of fragrance among its ingredients is especially noticeable when applied, it indeed has a remarkable green tea scent, which is pleasant but unnecessary (you know what my philosophy is about perfumes and essential oils).

One aspect I especially enjoy about this cleaner is its durability. Since you need very little product for each cleanse you can use it for a long time (although you should always take into account the PAO, which in this case is 12 months).

The results it provides are positive, it’s an effective cleanser and it is not dehydrating at all. Maybe it could be too aggressive for dry skin, but if your skin is oily or combination like mine, it is a good alternative. I must admit that this is not the best cleanser I have used. It is good, but the aspects that I have mentioned makes it not among my favorites, so, for the moment, I will not buy it again.

HOW TO USE:

This is a water-based cleanser, so you can use it on your morning routines or as a second part of your double cleanse at night. You should apply it with a moist face, taking a small amount (approximately equivalent to a pea) and gently massaging it to properly remove all the particles from the skin. Then remove it with lukewarm water and continue with the rest of your beauty routine: toner, serum, moisturizer and, if it is your morning routine, sunscreen.

This graphic aims to help you understand in which part of your skincare routine you should use each product.
You don’t need to do all the steps from this routine (but you should always cleanse, moisturize and use sunscreen).
Remember it’s key to do a patch test every time you consider adding new products to your skincare routine.
