Let’s talk about Korean skincare! K-beauty has become a regular part of our skincare routines, and while getting to know some of its products I’ve found some with amazing quality. In this review you’ll get to know the Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner, which may be a good addition to your routines. Are you ready?
Hello! Here is a new review in which I am going to tell you about the Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner. You have already seen other products of the brand here, so I’m sure you’re curious about this one, about the sensations when using it and my experience. Do you want to know it a little better? Keep reading!
PRODUCT: SUPPLE PREPARATION UNSCENTED TONER
SKIN TYPE: ALL
RECOMMENDED FOR: UNISEX
The name of this toner is probably familiar to you, since on previous occasions I have told you about other products in the same range from the Klairs brand: the Supple Preparation Facial Toner and the Supple Preparation All-over Lotion.
Something that I really like about Klairs is that they have a wide (but not excessive) range of products, which allows you to find several options that fit what your skin needs. So far I have liked, with few exceptions, all the products of the brand that I have tried, something very difficult to compare. In addition, the value for money of their products is the best, since they are inexpensive and efficient.
In this case, I am going to talk to you about a toner that they developed as an alternative to the Supple Preparation Facial Toner, of which I already shared my review. And why did they create an alternative to a product that is already effective? Because many of us prefer to use cosmetics without perfumes or essential oils, and the original product incorporated various citrus essential oils, which you already know are potentially irritating and, in my opinion, completely unnecessary.
You already know that toners are a great way to improve skin hydration, especially in this case, since this Supple Preparation Unscented Toner includes beta-glucan, panthenol and aloe vera extract among its ingredients. In addition, in its composition we can also see ingredients with soothing properties such as centella asiatica and licorice. Among its ingredients it does not incorporate perfumes or essential oils.
And when should you use this type of product? Although the toner is not an essential part of your skincare routine, it is true that it can help you increase the effectiveness of other products (such as, for example, your hyaluronic acid serum) and facilitate the hydration of the skin. I like to use a toner daily (in my morning and evening routines) to get that little extra hydration that my skin is so grateful for when it comes to staying balanced.
And getting to the point: how are the sensations when applying this product? Its texture is very similar to that of the other Klairs toner, although it gives me the feeling that this is somewhat less unctuous, lighter and watery. Like the other serum, it is completely transparent and its scent is not particularly prominent.
In terms of results, I have been able to notice that it hydrates the skin adequately, although for me it would be better if that hydration were more powerful and effective. Again, I have the impression that the other toner achieved a slightly better result, although I admit that I also like this product a lot (and the absence of essential oils is a plus for me).
My final assessment of the product is very positive, it is comfortable to use, it is effective and its value for money is great, so in the future I plan to buy it again, although for now I want to continue finishing the products that I already have at home. so as not to accumulate more.
HOW TO USE:
As I explained in this other article, the toner should be applied immediately after facial cleansing to maintain hydration and make the rest of your skincare routine more effective. I like to apply this type of product with a spray to achieve a better distribution, although with a few drops you get an equally effective result. Spread it over your face with your hands and then continue with the rest of your skincare routine as you already know.
This graphic aims to help you understand in which part of your skincare routine you should use each product.
You don’t need to do all the steps from this routine (but you should always cleanse, moisturize and use sunscreen).
Remember it’s key to do a patch test every time you consider adding new products to your skincare routine.
