Cabecera The Moisturizer - REVIEW: Jumiso First Skin Lightening Mask
Do you use sheet masks? These tissue face masks have been a revolution that came from Korean skincare. They’re a nice way to hydrate our skin, add some actives to our beauty routines and improve the skincare experience overall. On today’s review I’ll tell you my experience with the Jumiso First Skin Lightening Mask!

Hi! How are you? Here’s my latest review, in this case I’ll tell you about a sheet mask by Jumiso that was developed to give your skin a proper dose of brightening. Do you want to know it a bit better? Here we go!

BRAND: JUMISO
PRODUCT: FIRST SKIN LIGHTENING MASK
SKIN TYPE: ALL
RECOMMENDED FOR: UNISEX

You can get the Jumiso First Skin Lightening Mask on Amazon.

A few weeks ago I was luckily chosen by Jumiso to try their All Day Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum, which I will tell you about soon. If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen that, besides the serum, they sent me a few interesting things: their Yes, I am Toner, a t-shirt, several minisizes and these First Skin Lightening Masks. All these products have a common goal: getting a brighter, younger skin.

As you may remember from my review for the Holika Holika Pure Essence Mask Sheet Lemon, sheet masks are designed to give our skin an extra dose of nutrition, although they can never substitute a proper beauty routine, you cannot get in 15 minutes the same as in 2 months. I like to use them when I have a quiet moment and I can chill and properly pamper my skin.

The first I noticed when applying this mask is that it’s very, very, very hydrating. It’s of a white colour, with a lovely texture. It becomes some sort of second skin, deeply nourishing yours. In my case, it didn’t fit my face shape very well, although that’s a usual problem with sheet masks. I also felt that an important amount of essence was left inside the package, and that goes to waste.

Among the ingredients of this mask we find red berry extract, with antioxidant properties, and salmon eggs extract, rich in vitamins A and E, perfect to increase the skin’s luminosity. This mask contains perfumes.

I love the packaging of this mask. It’s gorgeous, with sort of manga illustrations. The exterior part is white with details in black and red.

It was nice getting to know this sheet mask. My impressions were positive, although I couldn’t say whether my skin feels much brighter. I want to keep using them, but so far the sensations have been great and I think they’re amazing masks.

HOW TO USE:

Since this mask contains essence, it is designed to be used after your cleansing so that it can give the skin all the nourishing it needs. You just have to put it on carefullly, take the outer layer off and leave the inner one on for 15 minutes. Then take it off and tap the essence into your skin.

This graphic aims to help you understand in which part of your skincare routine you should use each product.
You don’t need to do all the steps from this routine (but you should always cleanse, moisturize and use sunscreen).
Remember it’s key to do a patch test every time you consider adding new products to your skincare routine.
